Viaero’s wireless home internet uses fixed wireless technology, the same approach that powers internet service for tens of millions of rural households across the United States. Rather than running cable or fiber lines to your home, we transmit a high-speed signal from one of our towers directly to a small antenna or modem installed at your property. Once that connection is live, it powers standard Wi-Fi throughout your home just like any other internet service. Because the signal travels from a tower to your address rather than through space like satellite internet, latency is low and performance is consistent enough for streaming, video calls, remote work, and smart home devices.
Installation is handled by a Viaero technician and usually takes less than an hour. Wireless home internet, also called fixed wireless, uses a signal from a nearby tower to connect your home rather than routing data through a satellite in orbit. Because the signal travels a shorter distance, response times (latency) are faster, which makes a noticeable difference for video calls, streaming, and working from home. Viaero’s wireless home internet does not require cable or phone lines.
How fast is Viaero wireless home internet?
Download speeds vary by plan: the Better plan offers up to 25 Mbps, Best Internet up to 100 Mbps, and Ultra Internet up to 150 Mbps. These speeds are sufficient for streaming HD video, remote work, and most smart home devices.
Is there a data cap?
All Viaero wireless home internet plans include unlimited data. Data use is subject to Viaero’s network management policies, which may affect speeds during periods of high network congestion.
